Our People

IBT’s Core strength is the experience of the people who started the business over a decade ago. The founders of IBT-see below-have amassed an unequalled 60+ years experience collectively in the Oracel/PeopleSoft domain with a total of over 75 years ERP knowledge and 40 years HCM knowledge. This makes IBT’s core, the most experienced in the country which is reflected in the quality of candidate that we put forward.

Evan Hodge - Principle Consultant ERP Application and Technologies

Evan began working in the IT industry in 1989 and has been working in the PeopleSoft industry since 1995.

Evan's strengths are in project management, business intelligence, business requirement analysis, process & workflow design, system architecture and system design. Combine the above skills with his detailed knowledge and extensive experience in Cognos BI and ERP and Evan has a unique ability to create tactical BI solutions to your business challenges. Evan has a strong system development background and is well-versed in project management/development methodologies.

Byron Williams - Principle Consultant ERP Application

Byron began working in the IT industry in 1981 and has been working in the PeopleSoft industry since 1995.

He has been developing and supporting Financial and Distribution Applications since 1981. In a functional role he is talented in requirements definition, design, project management, user testing and implementation. In a technical role he is a proficient software engineer.

Scott Stenhouse - Principal Consultant Peoplesoft HCM Application

Scott began working in the IT industry in 1989 and has been working in the PeopleSoft industry since 1996.

He has extensive Project experience in the following areas: Project Planning, Project Management, Requirement Analysis and Definition, Design, Coding, System Interfaces, Testing, Implementation and Upgrading of ERP, HCM applications.

Scott’s background prior to consulting was System Development of HCM and Finance applications. This provides him with extensive experience at business and technical levels to analyse, design and develop customised applications.

Ron Bailie - Principle Consultant Oracle HCM Application

Ron began working in the IT industry in 1977, has been working in the PeopleSoft industry since 1995 and Oracle since 2004.

Ron is an Information Technology professional with functional and technical knowledge of several business areas including HR, Benefits, Payroll, Student Administration, Financials, Distribution and Manufacturing.

Ron is well versed in developing requirement specifications and design documents. However, his strength lies in managing the implementation of core systems within large organisations from the scoping phase through to user acceptance testing and training.

Ron has over 15 years experience working with a series of Australian HR/Payroll products in Australian such as Oracle 11i HR/Payroll, PeopleSoft HR/Payroll and Concept HR/Payroll. His project experience has included key business analyst, functional consulting and project lead roles with his knowledge of HR and Payroll. Ron’s business knowledge and exposure, technical knowledge, analytical skills, project leadership and management experience and well-rounded skills make him a valuable resource to any project team.

Chris Lomax - Sales Director

Chris started his career with Misys Plc www.misys.com back in 1984 (yes before PCs existed) selling systems to Insurance brokers in the UK. He spent 14 years with the company as it grew from a staff of 35 to 6,500 when he left in 1998. He was managing Director of three of its subsidiaries, starting with ICC travel systems in Altringham, Cheshire in ‘89, Innsite Hotel systems in Heathrow in ‘91 and then Misys Insurance systems pty ltd here in Sydney in ‘94.

Since 1998 Chris has run his own software business, been GM of IBT (back in the heady days of 1999 and 2000) and worked for the likes of Marlborough Stirling, Fujitsu and Huon in sales roles. In his last role he worked for Digital-Healthcare (a Cambridge UK based software company) where he successfully sold Diabetic retinopathy screening software to Waitamata and Northland NZ District Health boards. Chris now heads up the sales side of IBT and contributes to the commercial wellbeing of the company off the back of his extensive management experience.

Andrew Petrie - Principle     Recruitment Consultant     

Led since 2007 by Andrew Petrie, our Resourcing Practice is focussed on providing a completely transparent, high-engagement service anchored by our low fixed margin. Each and every engagement includes a complete breakdown of the commercials including our single, fixed margin of 15% in all cases.

Andrew has driven an open and accessible model and has seen considerable growth and success all the while remaining true to his core strategy, “always tell it like it is, strive to find a balance between service and annoyance and never make a promise you don’t intend to keep”.

Our Resourcing Model is geared toward developing long-term partnerships with both Clients and Candidates, specifically for the purpose of being able to introduce correct-fit resources when businesses need them, most. IBT is very rarely reliant on advertising as our Resource Managers are continually involved in market networking.
